Rain..rain..rain..!!

It's been raining for 4 days after the Chinese New Year. Flood here & there. Raining for 24 hours, having alot of wet cloth (have to recycle everything la..) felt cold, having flu & fever + bla..bla..bla..I just came back from Molly's kampung after my tutorial. It's a shock to see this. There's a landslide at the river in front of her house. How can I explain this?? I've took some photos here

The river in front of the house

This is the main road for the villages from Kpg Sigandar, Payang, Serumah & Gayu to town. Look at my mum's car, it's really dirty, right? The road spoilt alot + too muddy & it's dangerous for the villages to travel expecially at night. Most of the motocyclist have to bring spare cloth before they came to work & cars have to go for car wash due to dirty situation

(Car wash tauke.. $$ lai2!!)

Somemore on the way back, there's one landslide at Kampung Garung. It's really dangerous & it effected the house nearby.

There's more landslide on the way to Borneo height & Padawan but it's too far.

The question is

Do the goverment take any action for this fenomena? Especially the road that connect the villages to work & town also the landslide at various village in here?? How can they overcame this?? I know the goverment have done their best to overcame this but if it keep on raining, it's difficult to do the repairing. Just pray for the weather..

  2. What's happening to the land of Borneo? Mysterious land slides happening here and there throughout the island, and rumours of minor earthquake reported in Sabah. What has caused it - the rain or the earth's plate that are slightly moving?

  4. Everyone seems to talk about the raining season nowadays. Hot topic for Sarawakian!!!

Few years back, it was China who was hit by heavy rain that leads to a massive flood. Now they're having bad drought and we are now on the period of raining season.

It was bad, land slides everywhere and floods. To add more water into the cup, it's the King Tide period. Few cities are now become swimming pool and our hometown was in the list, hope there're no Bujang Senang attacks anywhere. Later for sure the National Geography dudes come to Sarawak for a visit. "Welcome to the Land of Slide" ~bad name.
